Terri DeBoer spent over 30 years with WOOD-TV as West Michigan’s morning meteorologist. She then became Director of Communications at Jacobs Financial Services, noticing similarities between forecasting both the ever-changing weather and financial markets. She first became a published author in 2021, and in 2022, she was inducted into the Michigan Emmy’s Silver Circle for television professionals with over 25 years of service. For many years, Terri has served with the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan and the Grand Rapids Griffins Youth Foundation. She frequently volunteers at community events and supports organizations like the American Heart Association, Faith Hospice, Special Olympics, Make-A-Wish, and many others. She and her husband, Bill, have been married for over 30 years and have three adult children and two grandsons.
