Terri DeBoer

Terri DeBoer spent over 30 years with WOOD-TV as West Michigan’s morning meteorologist. After retiring in 2023, she returned to FOX17 in Western Michigan in 2024 to again forecast the weather.

She first became a published author in 2021, and in 2022, she was inducted into the Michigan Emmy’s Silver Circle for television professionals with over 25 years of service. For many years, Terri has served with the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan and the Grand Rapids Griffins Youth Foundation. She frequently volunteers at community events and supports organizations like the American Heart Association, Faith Hospice, Special Olympics, Make-A-Wish, and many others. She and her husband, Bill, have been married for over 30 years and have three adult children and two grandsons.

Terri tackles the changing weather of life in her devotional Daily Hope for the Empty Nest, providing encouragement for moms as they navigate kids moving out of the house and discover purpose in new ways.
