Chris Tiegreen

Chris Tiegreen’s writing has impacted millions of lives. He is the author of nearly 30 books; over 40 study and discussion guides; and numerous magazine and newspaper articles, in addition to collaborative projects. His work has been translated into more than 60 languages in dozens of countries worldwide.

Chris began his career as a newswriter and photojournalist. Since then, he has served as a pastor in Florida; has helped plant churches in Idaho and Michigan; and has done missions work in Thailand. He was the founding editor of Walk Thru the Bible’s award-winning devotional magazine, Indeed, and has spoken at events, retreats, and writers’ conferences. Chris has also lectured on history and international politics at Georgia State University. His experiences in media, ministry, and higher education inform his writing. Chris loves language study, travel, golf, and college football, and also practices painting, piano, and guitar. He has lived and worked in Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Utah, Idaho, and Florida, as well as Thailand. He and his wife currently reside in Atlanta.
