Chad Moore

Chad Moore is the Lead Pastor of Sun Valley Community Church in Gilbert, Arizona, one of the largest and fastest-growing churches in the United States. With over 25 years of pastoral experience, he is deeply committed to serving the church and helping others grow in their faith. In addition to his pastoral role, Chad serves as a leadership coach and consultant for churches and business leaders. He also hosts the Loving God, Loving People podcast, as well as the Cigar Preacher YouTube series. The series’ mission is to “foster great friendships and share the love of God… by providing opportunity for meaningful conversations about what matters most in life.” Through Cigar Preacher, Chad partners with God Behind Bars to share the gospel in prisons, and with Chosen Children Ministries to build homes in Nicaragua. Through the series, Chad is able to “provide opportunities for conversation about faith. Many who would never attend church, will listen or watch a video while enjoying a great cigar.” 

Chad and his wife, Katrina—a Scotland native—have been married for more than 23 years and have two sons. Outside of ministry, Chad enjoys fly fishing, hiking, motorcycle riding, and long dinners with his wife.
