A former Bible Study Fellowship leader, she has spoken at large arena events like Women of Faith, Extraordinary Women, and Women of Joy; churches, conferences, and retreats; nonprofit fundraising events; and more.
She is the founder and director of Speak Up Conference, a ministry for speakers and writers, and nonprofit organization Speak Up for Hope, benefitting inmates and their families. Additionally, Carol is President of Speak up Speaker Services, a Christian speakers’ bureau. She regularly appears on national radio and television shows and podcasts like Focus on the Family, and was featured on the cover of Today’s Christian Women.

Every mother (every woman in general) should read this book. Deals lovingly with so many difficult issue. It made me a better person. Bought one as a Christmas present for my daughter and future daughter-in-law. I had planned to give my daughter the copy she gave me when she was a teenager but found I could not part with it.
Great daily devotional. Written solely for mothers in mind. Great start to each morning. Highly recommend.

I purchase this book over and over as gifts for my friends who are moms and it is especially nice to include in baby shower gifts. The author has nailed the biblical encouragement for moms to children of all ages and provides often needed refocusing above the chaos in a short and easy daily message. Love it!
